Grignan Castle lives to the rhythm of the seasons. It is hot there in the summer and cold in the winter.
Here are some practical tips to ensure your visit goes smoothly this summer:
> Adjust your visiting schedule to the extreme heatrs for example, by favouring the morning.
> Have a water bottle to stay hydrated regularly.
A free drinking water fountain is available in the castle. In hot weather, take the opportunity to refill your water bottles.
> Apply sunscreen et cover up with light clothing, wear a cap or a hat.
The ascent to the castle is on foot and offers little shade. Once at the castle itself, the sunlight can also be intense, except in the grove area.

Opening hours may change depending on daily temperatures. The café is open in the evening for those attending the Night Festival.
