The Marquise de Sévigné and her daughter were fascinated by the fashionable clothes and hairstyles at the King's court… The exhibition illustrates the tastes and trends of the time, supported by costumes made by a master corset maker and late 17th-century fans.e and early 18e (loans from private collectors), and the staging of a dressing table. Also noteworthy is the presentation of historical perfumes (in partnership with the Osmothèque de Versailles).
